A teenage girl has had a remarkable escape after she fell into an underground cavern in northern China. The teenager was walking by a road in the city of Xi'an when she suddenly vanished through the pavement and had to be rescued.

Virgin boy eggs

In Dongyang, in the Zhejiang province of China may have one of the most unique foods that has carried over to modern times - virgin boy eggs.

These hard-boiled eggs are soaked and the boiled in the urine of boys under the age of ten before they are eaten as a delicacy in the small coastal town.

The urine for making them at home and for street vendors to use is collected through buckets left outside the boys' toilets in Dongyang primary schools.

"By eating these eggs, we will not have any pain in our waists, legs and joints. Also, you will have more energy when you work," customer Li Yangzhen, 59, who bought 20 eggs from Ge, told the publication.

Fake egg

The egg was made from industrial chemicals and food additives, as reported by Dong Dzinshi, an expert government center monitoring and inspection of products. Dong said that the fake egg is less than 0.1 yuan (0.016 dollars), while, as this egg will cost about 0.5 yuan

Fake ambulances

Guangzhou police have arrested 18 people who were illegally transferring patients between hospitals and cities with fake ambulances.

The fake ambulances had been transformed from ordinary vans using red crosses, sirens and medical equipment including stretchers, oxygen bottles and first-aid kits containing stethoscopes and disposable rubber gloves.
